From SI's The Ten Spot:
The Gaghan family received the ax on Tuesday's episode, and if you didn't get a little choked up watching young Carissa bravely try to fight back the tears, you're not human. Or maybe you're the Weaver family, the latest black mark against the state of Florida. The Weavers like to wear their religion on their sleeves -- "We're responsible to a higher authority" huffed the mom sanctimoniously -- but don't always act especially, well, Christian. Consider that the "higher authority" comment came just after teenager Rolly Weaver twice called another contestant a "retard" and the family joked that one of the Godlewski sisters had had a boob job. For a few episodes I had wondered why all the other teams seemed to dislike the Weavers so much, but that's no longer a mystery. Then again, having a team to root against always spices up the drama.
Yep, I cried when little Carissa, the youngest Amazing Racer to "ever get this far" according to host what's-his-name, led the way.
And the Weaver's are starting to get on my nerves.
One more comment: Love those Godlewski sisters.
