Can I play QB? I'm 6'0" 195 lbs, can really toss around the nerf football ...
Here is the test from the WSJ's The Daily Fix:
Want to compare yourself to Messrs. Young, Marino and co.? Take out a pencil or pen and some paper. Set your stopwatch to four minutes and 19 seconds, and hit go. And then answer ESPN.com's 15 sample questions, plus No. 4 from the Indianapolis Star and Nos. 1 and 2 from the Orlando Sentinel. (The rest are duplicates. You can preload the Web pages, but no peeking allowed.) Add up your correct answers, and multiply your score by 25/9. That'll give you an idea of how you would have scored on the real thing. Extra credit from Mr. Sharp if you take the test opposite another person who's yelling at you or trying to snatch your pencil.
If you'd rather compare yourself to sportswriters than sportsmen, Sports Illustrated's Rick Reilly scored a 33 (after a couple of adjustments) in 2001. And the average editor scores a 29.
I think I took a bit more time than the 4 minutes and 19 seconds that the WSJ gives you. ESPN.com says to take 5 minutes on their 15 questions. So my score is probably a couple of points below 38. All I know is, it is high enough to play QB in the NFL and make a bunch of money. Phat! (is that how you spell it?)
