If you had read the judgment you would have seen that Donegal spent three years proposing exactly the kind of debt swap your bloggers did their "academic work" on... They are all debt for local currency swaps, just that the local currency in the Donegal case was to be used for investment.

It is amazing to me as a lawyer how few of you bloggers and journalists have bothered to read the judgment in this case which goes into this in detail...

I guess it is so much easier to just repeat whatever drivel the BBC has produced...
